A very special typedesign exhibition
Gutenberg meets lasercutter! Typetalking is a typedesign exhibition, which connects the traditional printing technique of letterpress with possibilities of digital tools. Together with Natascha Dell of Fontfarm, a group of ten students created ten typefaces. After creating in FontLab, we produced printing plates with laser cut. Finally we printed our digital fonts with letterpress printing machines by hand.

In the exhibition I showed my multilayer font ligna — a fat slab serif typeface, inspired by american wood type and letterpress.
